Anomaly Cafe Controls & Settings
Smooth controls mean faster orders and more time on CCTV. This guide covers every platform so you are not fumbling during your first anomaly encounter.
PC Controls

Note: Shift-to-Run was removed in v1.3. Walk speed can be upgraded via Scrappy instead.
Mobile Controls
- Virtual joystick — Move your character
- Swipe — Rotate camera
- Interact button — Use stations, pick up ingredients, serve orders
- Landscape mode — Supported in both directions since v1.4 (Aug 10 update)
Mobile players often struggle with fuse and power breaker minigames. v1.4 added colorblind shapes to the fuse puzzle — look for shape cues, not just colors.
Xbox / Console Controls
- Left stick — Move
- Right stick — Camera
- A / X — Interact (platform-dependent)
- Menu navigation — Improved in v1.4 for Xbox players
- Fire Extinguisher — Fixed for console in v1.3
Power breaker minigame was specifically improved for controller users in the Aug 10 patch. If prompts feel unresponsive, rebind isn't available yet — try standing closer to the station.
Critical In-Shift Actions
📹 CCTV
Available from Day 1 (hotfixed in v1.3). Interact with the camera terminal, then cycle views before serving any customer. Some anomalies only appear on camera.
☕ Order Board
Check active orders and recipe hints. Recipe guide navigation was fixed in v1.3 — use it when learning new drinks mid-shift.
🔄 Revive Teammate
Hold interact (~5 seconds) on a downed player. Revived players return with low sanity.
⚡ Kitchen Events
Fuse box and power breaker require quick interaction. Practice these on Day 1-2 before anomalies stack with events.
