Anomaly Cafe is a cooperative survival horror game on Roblox developed by HoruBrain Interactive. Set inside Emma's Cafe, you and up to 3 friends take on roles as cafe workers — taking orders, brewing coffee, cleaning tables — while silently watching for customers who aren't quite… human.
Each shift gets harder. New anomaly types appear from Day 3 onwards, the kitchen events become more chaotic, and your sanity slowly erodes. The only way to survive is sharp eyes on the CCTV camera and solid teamwork.
The game launched in Alpha on August 7, 2026 and is updated every two weeks. Servers hold up to 24 players, with sessions of 2–5 actively working together.

How to Survive Emma's Cafe
New to the game? Here's what matters most in your first few shifts.
Check Every Customer on CCTV
Before you serve anyone, verify them on camera. Some anomalies only reveal themselves through the lens — a customer staring directly back at you is a critical danger sign. Read our complete anomaly identification guide.
Divide Roles With Your Team
Assign one player to CCTV security, one to cooking, and one to serving. An uncoordinated team serving anomalies by mistake is more dangerous than being slow. See our team strategy guide for the full breakdown.
Master the Recipes Early
Slow order delivery tanks your tips and stresses the team. Memorise the top five most-ordered drinks in the first week. Our full recipe guide has every ingredient and step laid out.
Know Your Anomalies
Not every customer is what they appear to be. These are the most commonly encountered anomaly types — learn to spot them before it's too late.

First seen Day 2
Customer appears as raw meat instead of a normal critter.

First seen Day 4
Single large eye in the centre of the face.

First seen Day 5
Completely black eyes, no nose or mouth visible.

First seen Day 7
Stares directly at you through the CCTV lens.
Anomaly Cafe Day-by-Day Walkthrough
Every shift gets harder. New anomaly types unlock, kitchen events stack, and one mistake can cost the whole team. Here's exactly what to expect at each stage.
No anomalies on Day 1. Walk every station, memorise ingredient locations, and practice 2–3 recipes. This is your only fully safe shift.
Meat Man debuts — a customer that looks like raw skinned meat. Check every customer on CCTV before serving. Reject anything that looks off.
Eye Ghost only reveals itself on CCTV — not in person. Assign one dedicated camera watcher from this shift onwards.
Two new types debut simultaneously. Anomaly frequency increases. Keep sanity above 50% at all times.
Camera Looking stares back through the CCTV. Close the camera immediately and reject. Multiple anomalies can now spawn at once.
Max anomaly spawn, stacking kitchen events, zero margin for error. Complete Day 10 to unlock Endless Mode and the global leaderboard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from new players and the Anomaly Cafe community.
Is Anomaly Cafe free to play?
Yes, the base game is completely free on Roblox. Some characters like Lemon cost 180 Robux, but the starter character King is free and fully viable for all content.
How many players can play together?
Servers support up to 24 players, but you'll typically work in groups of 2–5. The lobby now supports Quick Play to find sessions fast.
What happens if a teammate is downed?
Another player can revive them by holding the interact button for ~5 seconds. A revived player has low sanity and needs time to recover before returning to duty.
How do I unlock more characters?
Earn Bells by completing orders and spend them at Scrappy. King is free, Pyro costs 110 Bells, and Jim-Jam costs 500 Bells. See the full character guide for all unlock costs.
I keep getting attacked by anomalies — what am I doing wrong?
Most players forget to check the CCTV before serving. Spend 2–3 seconds on each customer before delivering their order. Our anomaly guide shows exactly what to look for.
